METRIC NOTE
Scale exercises use centimetres and metres, because multiplying by 50 or 100 is the easiest way to learn scale. A feet-and-inches helper explains conversions (1 ft = 30.48 cm) and the US ¼ in = 1 ft scale (1:48 — almost the same as 1:50). Any metric/imperial ruler works.
